How do I login to my shell account?
Telnet to yourdomain.com and enter your username
and password. Your username is in the format u#####
How do I test my total disk usage?
Login to your shell account and type: quota -v
How do I change my site-manager password?
Our site-manager system secured independent of
our clients therefore if you wish to change your site-manager passwords send requests to support@abletohost.com Include 1) your username,
2) domain name, 3) private email account, 4) extant password and 5) the new password that
you wish for.

Inside the Email Manager/Virtual Mail Manager
(VMM) system how do I change my administrator password?
Login to your VMM shell account using the
username domain_com where but cut the name at 15 letters. (For example if your domain name
was longdomainname.com your username would be longdomainname_) After logging in simply
type the command "passwd" to change your password?
What is my incoming pop server?
Set your pop server to mail.yourdomain.com
What username and password should I use while
setting up a pop client such as Eudora or Outlook?
Set your username as username@domain.com - using the abbreviated version
of your username (ie just username) will fail with our pop3 system.
What is my outgoing smtp server?
Set your smtp server to the same smtp server of
your ISP.

Do virtual ftp accounts have the same permissions
as native ftp accounts?
Yes they do. Beware not to give them to
un-trustworthy users.
How do I enable anonymous ftp for my domain?
Send email to techsupport@abletohost.com and include your
username and domain name.
What will the home directory be?
Users will gain access to a directory
"ftp" under your home directory and they will share your quota.

If I add a new account, even though I already

CGI Questions
What is my cgi-bin directory?
Your directory is /cgi-bin It is located above
your html documents which is the /docs directory.
For security reasons, some scripts must not be
world writeable if they are to be executed as CGI scripts.
